Coca-Cola Europacific Partners Refreshed by Microsoft Teams Rooms
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) deployed Microsoft Teams in 2021 to help their employees stay connected and work more productively. However, CCEP were also using another platform for video conferencing which caused confusion for employees. CCEP quickly realised a need for a consistent uniformed approach to both remote working and video conferencing. The solution was to maximise their investment in Microsoft Teams by deploying Microsoft Teams Rooms with the support from Symity, a dedicated Microsoft Teams Gold Partner.
Customer challenges
• Business confusion when to use Teams Vs other platforms for calling/VC
- Endpoints were disparate across countries and sites with some having purchased endpoints locally
- Many key office sites were without any conferencing capability in meeting rooms so relied on HDMI connections direct to screen with audio via laptop only

- More reliance on virtual meetings and reduced travel due to pandemic
Partner solutions
Symity worked with CCEP to implement a Lenovo compute solution for the Microsoft Teams Room as they use Lenovo for laptops, this was coupled with Logitech Rally peripherals for their standard room solution. New Sony screens were deployed where needed with many repurposed to save waste and money.
Meeting Room standards were applied for all rooms which satisfied 90%+ rooms.
This gave a uniformed approach across all meeting spaces, meaning employees could enter any room across the World and gave the same experience as they would locally.
Customer benefits
Since deploying Microsoft Teams Rooms globally CCEP have seen a levelling up of the capability for employees, whereas before endpoints were not structured for type/location and size of room.
Employees can now enter any meeting space Worldwide and have the same experience as they would at their local office.
Small, medium and large meeting room standards has allowed local teams to deploy and enable more rooms. 255 so far across 17 countries.
The adoption and training program provided by Symity coupled with a consistent meeting room experience gives employees confidence that when they walk into a meeting room, they know how to use it.
A consistent room experience provides a consistent support experience which CCEP IT team has found hugely beneficial as support tickets have dramatically declined.
